Introduction

These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website at www.carolineturnershoes.com. By accessing this website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

If you do not agree to these terms of use, please do not use the site. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time, and you are bound by the version available on the site at the time of purchase.

The owner of this website is Caroline Turner Shoes whose premises are located at 10 High Street, Teddington, Middlesex TW11 8EW. Our VAT registration number is 843 5838 02.

Caroline Turner Shoes may change or withdraw any part of the website, or may refuse you access to the website at any time if we consider it necessary.

Use of this website and these terms are subject to the laws of England and the jurisdiction of the English Courts.

Ordering from us

You are deemed to place an order with us by ordering via our online checkout process. As part of this process you will be given the opportunity to check your order and correct any errors. We will send you an order acknowledgement, detailing the products that you have ordered. We will then process your order and our acceptance of this order takes place when we dispatch the order. We will send you a dispatch confirmation by email. When we dispatch the order a contract will then exist between you and Caroline Turner Shoes even if your payment has been processed immediately, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order.

Caroline Turner Shoes may cancel any sale and not supply products if it is reasonable to do so and may change or discontinue the availability of products at any time at its sole discretion. If an order is cancelled, any payment made for the products will be refunded in full. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Prices and Payment

All prices are in GBP (£) and include VAT at the current rates. These prices exclude delivery charges, which are set out in our delivery section of this website.

Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already sent you a Dispatch Confirmation.

We always try to make sure that the prices on the website are accurate but errors may occur. If we discover an error in the prices of the products in your order we will inform you as soon as possible using the contact details you supply us with. We will then give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to reach you we will treat the order as cancelled. If an order is cancelled, any payment made for the products will be refunded in full.

We are under no obligation to provide the product to you at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you a Dispatch Confirmation, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable and could have reasonably been recognised by you as a mis-pricing.

We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, Visa Debit, Visa Delta, Maestro (Switch), Solo and Electron.

Alternatively you can send a cheque in the post and upon cheque clearance we will send you your purchase.

Where payment is made by credit or debit card, you authorise us to debit your card with the total cost of the products selected (including VAT) plus any delivery costs. Any refunds made in respect of returns or cancellation will be made to the same card. If your card cannot be verified or is any way unacceptable, the order will be cancelled immediately.

We reserve the right to cancel your order if for any reason we deem the transaction to be fraudulent and in this instance your debit card will be refunded.

Prices and availability of goods are subject to change without notice.

For customers outside the EU, Caroline Turner Shoes will deduct VAT as part of the checkout process.

If you order products from our website for delivery outside the UK, they may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order. You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the products are destined. We will not be liable for any breach by you of any such laws.

Availability of our website

Whilst we endeavour to ensure that this website is available 24 hours a day, we will not be liable if for any reason this website is unavailable at any time or for any period. Access to this website may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond our control.

You must not attempt to interfere with the proper workings of our website and, in particular, you must not attempt to circumvent security, tamper with, hack into, or otherwise disrupt any computer system, server, website, router or any other internet connected device.

All offers are subject to stock availability.

We reserve the right to end promotions without given notice.

Registration

To register with www.carolineturnershoes.com you must be over 18 years of age.

Each registration is for a single user only. We do not permit you to share your user name and password with any other person. Responsibility for the security of any passwords issued rests with you and if you know or suspects that someone else knows your password, you should contact us immediately.  We may suspend or cancel your registration immediately at our discretion or if you breach any of your obligations under these terms and conditions.

Information about you

We process information about you in accordance with our privacy policy. By using our site, you consent to such processing and you warrant that all data provided by you is accurate.

Disclaimer

While we endeavour to make every effort to ensure that the information on our site is correct, we do not warrant the accuracy and completeness of material on this website. Product pictures and colour reproduction are as accurate as the photographic and post production process allows. We may make changes to the material on this website, or to the products and prices described in it, at any time without notice. The material on this website may be out of date, and we make no commitment to update such material. 

Please note that all content, materials and information on our website are provided on an “as is” basis without any conditions, warranties or other terms of any kind.  Accordingly, to the maximum extent permitted by law, we provide you with this website on the basis that we exclude all representations, warranties, conditions and other terms (including, without limitation, the conditions implied by law of satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose and the use of reasonable care and skill) which but for these terms and conditions might have effect in relation to this website.

Cancellation and Returns Policy

If you are not completely happy with your order, you can send items back to us for an exchange or refund within 14 days of receipt for full priced items or 7 days of receipt for sale items. The cost of returning goods to us shall be borne by you. All items sent back to us must be in their original condition. Products must be returned unworn and undamaged in their original packaging with the original purchase receipt.

We advise that all goods returned should be sent via a recorded method of delivery (e.g. Royal Mail Recorded Signed For™). This will cover you if the goods are lost in the post. Caroline Turner Shoes will not be held responsible for any returns that do not reach us and you will remain billed for lost items

All products from Caroline Turner Shoes are checked for quality before they are sent to you. Footwear should only be fitted on carpet for protection. Returned goods found to be worn, damaged, marked, soiled or scratched will not be refunded or exchanged.

Caroline Turner Shoes cannot guarantee against standard wear and tear and we reserve the right to seek a second opinion from an independent body when defect inspections are required. If the product is deemed to have a manufacturing defect or is not fit for purpose we will offer an exchange or refund. If the product has been worn and is deemed to have a minor fault within 6 months of purchase, we will usually make a repair. If we are unable to repair the product, we will exchange or refund, at our discretion. Your statutory rights are not affected.

If you wish to cancel your order before we have dispatched your goods you can notify us at info@carolineturnershoes.com. If your goods have already been dispatched you can return your goods to us as set out in the policy above.

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm

Title to the product passes at the time of dispatch. We are not liable for any loss or damage caused during delivery. This is covered by the shipping insurance.
